The renovation of the existing 45,000 square foot Administration Building for the Sacred Heart Model School, is an effort
to consolidate K-8 classes presently in two buildings on the Ursuline Campus. The program for the building includes the
replacement of all windows; the installation of a new HVAC system; new lighting and various finishes. During the design of
the facility, the keeping of the charm and historical context of the facility while incorporating a modern teaching facility
was of concern to the owner. The architect successfully blended old and new ideas into the facility without compromising
the historical value of the 1929 building.
