In February 2001 a decision was made to relocate the Allied Health program located at the University of Louisville Medical
Center to Bellarmine University. Godsey Associates met with the heads of the programs and Bellarmine staff and quickly
developed a program and schematic designs. After reviews and approved plans were developed, bids were received April 16th
and a contract awarded April 25, 2001. The existing facility had to remain operational until May, but had to open at
Bellarmine August 20th. The completion date was met and all lab equipment was relocated and operational for the opening of
classes. The project encompassed a major Clinical Lab Science room, a Cytotechnology lab, a Multi-head microscope lab along
with prep rooms and storage.
