The Northern Kentucky University Applied Science and Technology Center is a multi-functional, high technology center. This
structure incorporates large open laboratories for welding, robotics and electronic equipment, sophisticated computer
rooms as well as normal classrooms, drafting and computer labs. All floors are connected to a fiber optics backbone and the
whole facility is computer networked and linked to the main University Computer Center. The building is configured to
anchor the open edge of the Campus Commons Area and to act as a closure to the east side of campus.
