The Northern Kentucky University Library project includes the complete renovation of the existing 66,939 SF monolithic
concrete structure and a new 52,971 SF addition. The building has been updated to meet the requirements of the American
Disabilities Act (ADA) and local codes. The installation of a new 5-story elevator and the design layouts for book stacks
and other furnishings are included in this project. Two large pedestrian plazas adjacent to the Library are also being
developed along with a monumental drive terminating at the library, establishing the entry to the University.
