Young Service Center Louisville, Kentucky Contact: Mr. John Lee 502.485.3315 Construction Cost: $7,767,577.00 Square Feet: 23,750 Completion: August 1992 The renovation of the Durrett High School Campus to house the New Male High School included: new grandstand and athletic field; new locker rooms and weight training facility; improvements to both gymnasiums; complete renovation of entire exterior & interior of the school building with exterior facade enhancements; a complete third story Science complex (15,000 sf for Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Physiology and Anatomy); new media center/library facility with 8,000+ sf to meet state guidelines; major kitchen/cafeteria renovation with 95% new equipment and a 750 sf addition; major re-roofing, electrical upgrading with new lighting; handicap improvements; and new communication systems.
