The new teleconferencing center in the recently constructed Kentucky International Convention Center is the continuation of
the over $70 million investment in the City of Louisville and the Commonwealth of Kentucky. The teleconferencing center
will be a state-of-the-art facility designed to provide any conferencing or meeting need. Specifically designed to meet
the flexible demands of the modern business or civic organization.
The space is arranged to allow for "normal" lectures on panel discussions with an area in the front for speaker panels or
table layouts. The teleconferencing center steps down in a theatre/auditorium like manner. This allows for optimal site
lines for every seat. The built in tables have the capability to allow a conference to plug in their laptop to power and
data outlets.
There is the capability to interactively provide input to participants throughout the world via high speed internet access
within the facility. A 12 x 9 foot rear projection screen is the focal point of the center.
