The Kentucky Higher Education Assistance Authority Office Building is a design/build cooperative between Godsey Associates Architects and Parco Construction. The new office building located in Frankfort, Kentucky consists of approximately 98,000 sq. ft of building on four floors.

This project is being constructed and designed on a fast track basis with the contractor and architect working closely together in concert to maintain the extremely tight schedule. This is the first major design/build effort undertaken by the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

The Godsey/Parco team approach is one in which the site development begins immediately upon approval of contract. Directly after that the structural steel and concrete packages are being awarded and construction starting.

This fast track approach will allow the schedule to be maintained while allowing enough time for deliberation and decisions by the project team, owner and the design/build team.
